Dear Friend,
Thanks for your support this past year! Along with others like you,
you helped to further the mission and goals of ACPA and the Educational
Leadership Foundation by:
- Enhancing the professional development of college educators
involved in preparing students for leadership roles in society
- Generating
and disseminating knowledge about student learning and trends in
higher education.
In 2004, the Foundation:
- Established an Annual Fund program including
an all-member appeal.
- Instituted the Donna M. Bourassa Endowed Scholarship
Fund.
- Provided a means by which all members were made aware of and could
make a gift honoring one or more of the 2005 Diamond Honorees.
- Implemented an
online giving system.
- Obtained office space within the ACPA National
Office.
- Hired a part/time administrative assistant to assist with donor
records.
We are laying the groundwork for The Foundation’s growth
in the coming years whereby we can support the mission and goals of
ACPA. We are focused on providing philanthropic support for professional
development institutes, publications, and other key initiatives which
help college student educators carry out the critical work of preparing
students for leadership roles in society.
Your continued support for professional development events such as the
Donna Bourassa Mid-Level Management Institute and the Student Affairs
Assessment Seminar allows ACPA to offer these institutes to more of our
members. Your support also helps the development of new research and
scholarship through grants that lead to providing you with new knowledge
of student learning and development.
Again, thank you for your generous support of the ACPA Educational Leadership
Foundation in 2004. Please remember ACPA throughout 2005 as you continue
to develop tomorrow’s leaders.
