Susan Robb Jones

Susan R. Jones is Associate Professor and Director of the Student Personnel Assistantship Program at The Ohio State University. She received her Ph.D. from the University of Maryland, M.Ed. from The University of Vermont, and B.A. from Saint Lawrence University. Prior to becoming a faculty member, Susan held numerous positions within Student Affairs where she worked directly with students, the last one being Dean of Students at Trinity College of Vermont. Susan’s scholarship has focused on community service and service learning, women in student affairs, and qualitative research methodology.

Susan clearly lives her values and has given much to others through service to her local community, leadership positions within professional associations, and her time spent with graduate students challenging and supporting their development as student educators. Susan combines her keen insight into others and incredible warmth with a dry sense of humor that allow others to learn from her and to enjoy her immensely as a valued and respected colleague.
