Susan Salvador

Susan Salvador is Vice President for Student Services at Monroe Community College, a position she has held since 1999. She has held leadership positions in ACPA, the American Association for Women in Community Colleges, and the League for Innovation. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities and the United Way of Greater Rochester.

Susan has limitless energy and enthusiasm, a refreshing sense of humor, and highly polished public speaking skills. She is an expert presenter and institute faculty member, particularly in the areas of strategic planning and assessment. She is a devoted mentor to students and, as one colleague says: “she is relentless in her commitment to student success.”

Susan is equally known for her devotion to her family, often sharing family stories and pictures with colleagues. Her husband has this to say: “I know she is an outstanding professional but what amazes me more is how this pales in comparison to her as a mother, wife and friend.”
