Jan L. Arminio is Professor and Chair of the Department of Counseling and College Student Personnel at Shippensburg University. She currently serves as Chair of the Council for the Advancement of Standards in Higher Education and on the Editorial Board of the Journal of College Student Development. She is frequent presenter at professional conferences and author of many articles, the most recent publications include co-author of Negotiating the Complexities of Qualitative Research and two book chapters in press White racial identify and The importance of including spiritual approaches in counseling. She is the recipient of ACPA’s Annuit Coepitis awards for both Emerging and Senior Professional and the Faculty Fellow award of NASPA.
