Mary McKinney Edmonds is Vice Provost and Dean for Student Affairs Emeritus of Stanford University, continues to be professional active after retiring from Stanford. She served as the Senior Student Affairs Officer at both Stanford and Bowling Green State University in addition to holding faculty rank at both institutions in the health field. Mary remains active today as a consultant and served as an Assistant to the President and a research consultant at Spelman College. In addition to numerous other awards throughout her career, Mary is the recipient of the Distinguished Alumni of the Year Award and the Tiffany Award from Spelman College and two Honorary Doctorates, one from the Medical College of Ohio in 1994 and more recently from State University of New York, in 2003.
