Julie Bell-Elkins is Assistant to the Vice President of Student Affairs at the University of Connecticut. She also has taught graduate courses at the University of Connecticut, Framingham State College, Indiana University of Pennsylvania, the University of Massachusetts-Amherst and the University of Delaware. She has served in many leadership positions in ACPA including Executive Council Member, Director of the Core Council for Outreach and Advocacy, Chair of the Standing Committee for LGBTA, Founder/Director of the AIDS Memorial Coir, Founder of the Paul Hart Fund. She also has served on the Executive Board of NASPA and is the current Chair of the Alcohol and Other Drug Knowledge Community, and the Treasurer of ACPA.
