Jeanne L. Higbee

Jeanne L. HigbeeJeanne L. Higbee is Professor and Senior Advisor for Research at the Center for Research on Developmental Education and Urban Literacy in the General College at the University of Minnesota.  She has served in leadership positions in the National Association for Developmental Education including Co-chair of the Special Committee to Explore the Future of NADE Cultural Diversity and International Access Committee. Jeanne is active in ACPA’s Standing Committee on Disability and Standing Committee on Women. She is a prolific author and frequently invited speaker/presenter on the topic of developmental education. Jeanne is one of 22 living Fellow of the American Council of Developmental Education Association and recipient f the Henry Young  Award for Outstanding Individual Contribution to NADE. She also is the recipient of the Voice of Inclusion Medallion from ACPA and the Noel-Levitz Retention Excellence Award.
