Michael Speros is the Director of Residential Life at Missouri Western State University. He has received numerous awards for his commitment to diversity including the ACPA Outstanding Contribution to Multicultural Education Award and Voice of Inclusion Medallion Individual Award. Michael has been a National Coalition Building Institute trainer since 1997 and has presented at ACUI on "Creating Culturally Competent Organizations". Earlier in his career when at Illinois State University Michael advised the Interdenominational Youth Choir, becoming the first white individual to advise the oldest historically Black Registered Organization on that campus.
